Scope and Contents

The photocopied black & white image depicts a nude frontal view of a woman emphasizing her pubic hair. The white portion of the print is filled in with dense typed letters that do not have any linguistic meaning. Kythera aka Cerigo is a Greek island in the Mediterranean which had a temple of Aphrodite in antiquity. Presumably, Diotallevi is pointing out that language doesn't matter in a Temple of Love. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
