This sixtieth new series collage page of the Dante Diary is titled "Curtains for Dante...." A center letter is surrounded on both sides by torn illustrated stage curtains. The author of the letter is Michael Kustow, Commissioning Editor, Arts for Channel Four Television .It is addressed to Kaes Kasander of KGP Productions and states that there will be no more funding for the Dante project. He writes, "I know that all of you will be extremely disappointed - as I am - but I'm afraid that there is nothing I can do to change this decision.
