Scope and Contents
Jean Lodge grew up in Ohio and graduated from Miami University with a BA in 1963. That year she moved to Europe and studied at the Koskoschk a school in Salzberg, Austria. After studying at the Ruskin School at Oxford University, England, she worked with the British surrealist artist S. W. Hayter at Atelier 17 in Paris, taught printmaking, and established her own printmaking workshop in Paris. She became head of printmaking at the Ruskin School of Fine Art at Oxford University in 1978. Jean Lodge divides her time between England and France where she maintains a print workshop in Paris. She has exhibited widely throughout the world. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
