Scope and Contents
In 1992, Carol Diehl started to use letters, words and symbols in paintings to record events in her life. This exhibition at the Hirschl & Adler Gallery displayed 12 paintings, one for each month of the year. The rich, colorful, madala-like arrangements are reminiscent of the paintings of Alfred Jensen. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
