Scope and Contents
In the introductory essay, Menna writes that "the intention of this exhibition is to trace the paths followed by gesture, and to examine the different and continually varying directions it takes in the fields of painting and writing. The two fields establish a reciprocal exchange, each from time to time acting as the dominant force though without ever expecting to rule the game alone." -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
