Scope and Contents
This issue includes a review of Black Sparrow Press, particularly their book cover designs, a photo essay on Blackpool urban typography, the typographic designer Berthold Wolpe, the comic strip artist Will Eisner, and the cover essay on the St Bride's Printing Library. The latter collects any materials related to the printing trade. Mafaida Spencer 's essay contrasts the work of Piet Zwart" the designer" and Hendrik Werkman "the artist."
