According to Bill Barrette who edited this book, Westerman carried out an extensive correspondence but never made copies of his letters. This book contains only a small selection of his letters, mainly from his wife, Joanna and his dealer, Alan Frumkin. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
