Scope and Contents
Tu Fu, an 8th century disciple of Confucious, is regarded as one of China's greatest poets. The translations were made by Rexroth. A suite of 25 prints by Marden, inspired by the poems, is reproduced in the book along with a signed print. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
