Scope and Contents

The inscription might be to Grace Butcher, a poet in da levy's circle. The cover drawing was done by Grady Jones and the introductory essay by John Cornillion. The first poem, entitled "Peaces" is a loose listing of permutations of its title, e.g., peA ces, peces pe Aces, Pea c ess, PEA cess, peees ssess, etc. The ink drawing depicts a large calligraphic marking; three other markings, reproduced in mimeographed printing, are scattered throughout this book. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
