Scope and Contents

Seventy pages of this book are devoted to conceptual texts photocopied one on each page from typed text. The pages are ordered alphabetically by title. An appendix contains copies of letters requesting the recipients to save their unopened mail for one week, place it in a box and send it to Fisher to be exhibited. None of the recipients agreed to participate. Marcia Tucker, associate curator at the Whitney Museum, wrote that she has "kept your entire letter and have added it to my files under the heading 'Unclassifiable Curious Documents.' -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
