Scope and Contents Billy Maine and True Fristoe were a lyricist/composer team who apparently had a burlesque troupe that toured in the nineteen twenties, mostly in the midwest. The scrapbook in this collection was apparently put together by Marie Fristoe, so it is assumed that the remainder of the collection comes from her, too.
