Scope and Contents There have been two University Oral History Projects, the first in 1976-1977 (James Beilman), the second in 1999-2001 (Linda Yanney). The first was transcript focused (although a partial set of the sound recordings exists) while the second, digitally recorded and transcribed with computer-edited files, preserved both original recording and transcripts. There is also a box of transcript excepts of interviews conducted by D.C. Spreistersbach for his book, "The Way It Was."
