This book was developed and designed by Mark Oldach and Rhonda Taira. Society of Typographic Arts in association with the Center for the Book in the Library of Congress, 1989. Folio, full turquoise linen stamped in magenta and white. 60 pages, with 26 full page plates, each by an internationally acclaimed designer, illustrator or photographer. This copy is the deluxe Issue with each plate signed in pencil by the artist. Starting with "Z" and ending with "A", ZYX: 26 Poetic Portraits is an elegant and entertaining book featuring visual interpretations of each letter in the alphabet by twenty-six internationally acclaimed designers, illustrators and photographers.
