The photographic portion of this book is reprinted from a book first published by Centro DI in Florence, Italy in 1971. The translucent paper, printed pages inserts with writing and abstract markings are new to this edition. The photographs depict realistic intertwined hands and arms from single or multiple subjects usually captioned in Italian and English with a brief phase or poem. There are two translucent paper overlays tracing each one of the photographic images. The top one traces the outlines of the photograph with line and calligraphic text and the bottom one with shading and calligraphic text.
