The book was produced at Watford School of Art between May 1968 and May 1969. It was designed in the tradition of Hansjorg Mayer for his Dieter Roth publications. This anthology Includes reprints of a selection of curry's publishing activities focusing on his rubberstampings of minimalistic and concrete poems of his own and his circle of poets. Dean comments: this making precious of the single poem was the result of necessity as much as esthetic deliberation; curry published within a finite small budget. This could have caused poor-quality production, i.e. Gestetner, offset or xerox. Instead it resulted in hand-stamp, hand-set rubber type, as his chosen (& unique) means of publication. Leonard Frank Duch organized this exhibition of mail art based upon alterations of postcard images taken as photographs of two holes in a pavement. Edition Hundertrmark: Valoch was born 1946 in Brno, Czechoslovakia and lives in Brno, Czech Republic. From 1965 to 1970, Valoch studied Czech and German literature and aesthetics at the Faculty of Philosophy, Masaryk University in Brno. He has worked as an art critic, theorist and curator since 1966. From 1972 to 2001, he was a theorist and curator of Art, Dum umeni, Brno. Currently, he is curator at the National Gallery Prag. Since 1966, Valoch has participated in numerous individual (in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Germany, Italy, Netherlands and Austria) and group exhibitions. He was a member of the Klub konkretistu (Club of Concretists) from 1968 to 1972. Each contributor decorates a blank portrait of Mr. Reeee, who is presented as a murderer in keeping with the project's "investigation/police report' theme.
