Under Milk Wood by Dylan Thomas / Waters, Sheila., 1989
This book is a reproduction of an original illuminated manuscript commissioned in 1961. The leaflet bound into the book adjacent to the colophon is a calligraphic sample from the original manuscript. The binding of the book is by Peter Waters. In this edition, Waters altered the name of the town where the action takes place to "Llaregyb" from its original "Llareggub" printed in the New Directions Edition. "Llareggub" written from end to beginning spell "buggerall," an obscene word. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.

Each page consists of highly stylized, black ink, Cyrillic letters drawn in thirteen lines per page. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
[Untitled], 1997
A portion of the inked Syriaque letters are overpainted in white that either obliterates some letters or covers them in a veil of paint. In addition, fine red lines are painted across the entire surface in patterns of triangles, horizontal lines or parallel arcs. This work has a freer sensibility than earlier drawings by Moreau held in the Sackner Archive. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
