Ketty La Rocca was born in 1938 and died in 1976. In this catalogue, her work begins as making poesia visiva collages often with political content but then she develops a unique style. This consists of writing on the outlines of traditional black and white photographs and/or tracing the outlines of the photograph onto one piece of translucent paper with calligraphic text and line and onto another piece of translucent paper with lines or shaded lines only.
