It can be considered a 2nd revised edition of a book with a similar title pubished in 1973 that is also held by the Sackner Archive.Amazon.com: Franco Vaccari, born in Modena, Italy, in 1936, has shown his work at four Venice Biennales to date (1972, 1980, 1993 and 1995), the Centre Pompidou in Paris and P.S.1 in New York. He's also well known in Italy as a critic and author. Exhibitions in Real Time is the first monograph to assemble his recurring works of that title. It focuses particularly on one early and better-known iteration, his 1972 Biennale solo show, and also documents 35 performances over the following 30 years of activity. Scope and Contents The exhibition, "Et Tous Ils Changent le Monde" ("And All of Them Change the World"), reveals, outside of major works, an ensemble of art moments that have been perceived as essential in the course of modern and contemporary art, the avant garde artists from the beginning of the century and those of today. Marc Dachy, who proposed the theme of the exhibition, writes in his preface that this biennale was to present Dada and its spirit, connections and relationships to contemporary art. Dachy gives a broad overview with reference to specific artists participating in the exhibition and describes their relationship to art movements such as Situationism, Art Brut, Conceptual and the language-art movements of concrete and visual poetry, Fluxus and Neo-Dada.
