The introductory section of the book consists of three pages of aphorisms dealing with gardening by Ian Hamilton Finlay. This is followed by 29 black and white photographs of Little Sparta by Gillanders. Then Alec Finlay writes a brief essay on the garden and its visual challenge to photography. Trax was founded by P. Ciani(Unit 01) and V. Baroni(Unit 02) in Spring 1981. Later M. Giacon(Unit 03) joined in. It was not a real art movement but an international network of independent units, who produced new graphics, musical or literary styles but new ways of organizing and releasing cultural products (records, audioimages, comics, xerographies, exhibitions, etc.) In June 1987, Units 01 and 02 were terminated and the final report, Last Trax issued. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.

Scope and Contents This work was published as a 33rpm record in 1987, and the record is also held by the Sackner Archive. As documented in the booklet, Bruhin composed this poem by arranging words according to sounds rather than alphabetical order. Each word differs from the previous one by one letter, e.g., one letter is added, one letter is cancelled or one letter is replaced by a different letter. The publisher states: The new compact disc by Anton Bruhin issued by Alga Marghen is titled r o t o m o t o r and covers two different areas of the artist's research. The first one is represented by a group of works including the short and mysterious environmental recording 'ORAX' as well as 'Lange Tone', 'VERSUCHPILZ 6' and 'Paul is 35', three excerpts from the epic 'MC-10 zyklus' created between 1976 and 1977 recording various layers of sound sources on two cassette recorders with loudspeakers.
