This set of cards documents an event that took place at the Manchester Poetry Festival. In a 2002 brochure the following was stated, 'Writer Philip Davenport and artist Phil Sayers have made a series of poster poems. This is an around the city exhibition. At first glance simply fashion posters, the young "female" model is actually a 56 year old man in drag; the words are a poem, not a sales pitch... made by cutting up articles from fashion magazines... Davenport's previous Imaginary Missing People (published Writers Forum 1999) several hundred missing person poster poems bill-posted in Manchester, London, Brighton.
