These are calendar drawings with each day of the month a drawing directly or indirectly gleaned from articles in the NY Times Newspaper. The information leading to the drawing is written in graphite on the verso of the drawing. The April drawing consists of heads, the May drawing text from newspaper article headers, and map drawings from articles.
