The poster printed on heavy glossy stock depicts an abstracted shape of a nude feminine torso with its surface covered by a grid of randomly selected typewritten letters. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.

The book represents a man's body with a white, plastic spiral spine, a face and hair made of cut, smaller spiral spine material, a heart shaped heart printed with "je t'aime," and appropriately shaped booklets for the arms, abdomen, legs and penis. Crombie wrote the Sackners that these book objects were too difficult to transport and make so that none of the editions were completed as stated in the colophon. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.

There are 28 shaped poems in this book that was adapted from a manuscript in which the calligraphers who did the writing were supervised by Maurus. Three copies of this manuscript were made. A facsimile of one of them is held by the Sackner Archive a in the images from the manuscript in some of them. The black letters were made with lead type and the red letters with woodcut type. There are 28 shaped poems in this book that was printed from a manuscript in which the calligraphers who did the writing were supervised by Maurus. Three copies of this manuscript were made. The black letters were made with lead type and the red letters with woodcut type. Love Letters: A Celebration of Jewish Love and Marriage in Words and Images / Moss, David., 2004
This book was a gift from Arthur Jaffe in honor of the Sackners' 50th wedding anniversary. The hard cover book duplicates with illustrations and explanations the Ketubot (Jewish wedding contracts) created by David Moss from 1971 to the present. The portfolio contains prints of the Seven Blessings recited at a Jewish wedding ceremony.
