This catalogue of a virtual museum consists of three books bound into one. The first is a manifesto and history of the launching of Casa das Rosas written by Jose Roberto Aguilar. Subtitled "Essays, manifestoes, critical and theoretical writings" the author traces the developement of visual poetry from Mallarme to contemporary multi-media poets. Kac comments on "Adrift," a holographic poem commissioned for the Sackner Archive. It is composed of 7 words that dissolve into space along the Z axis as the viewer reads them back and forth. The letters that make up the words are floating freely along the Z axis except for the word "breathe," which is somewhere integrated into the overall light field. This first edition book was printed in October 2002 to celebrate Xexoxial's reimergence into publishing & electronic networking. The collection was inspired by the gathering of more than 20 visual poets who attended the Second Wave festival at Ohio State University, Summer 2002. The catalogue has six pages altered with drawings by Joel Hubaut - they were not part of this exhibition. He particapated in a sound poetry component of the exhibition through a CD recorded by Dmitry Bulatov for his book, An International anthology of sound poetry.
