It was made with a combination of rubberstamping and mimeography. The book consists of magazine covers and pages for popular consumption printed by a large German printing plant. The workers hands were photocopied by Olbrich who then overlaid the hands on this material to create pages in a book. The book itself is placed within the frame with a matting of crumpled paper from the pages and covers produced in the printing plant.
