Biography

The Sheridan Hustlers 4-H Club was a girls' 4-H club in Sheridan township near Eldridge in Scott County, Iowa.  The members participated in a wide range of activities including gardening, canning, cooking, sewing and quilting, and furniture refurbishing. Members also had picnics, went on hikes, played baseball, softball, and folk games; presented plays and made music together; learned about good health and grooming; created exhibits for the county fair; attended 4-H conventions and Camp Abe Lincoln; and participated in Rally Days.

Arrangement

The records arrived in two looseleaf notebooks. Because the notebooks were overly full, newspaper clippings and photographs filed at the end of each notebook were removed and filed in folders.
