The Sackner Archive lent several works of the three artist-poets to the exhibition including Cleveland Prints, The North American Book of the Dead, Scarab Poems by d.a. levy; The Journal of Albion Moonlight, Cloth of the Tempest, Sleepers Awake by Kenneth Patchen; 18th Dynasty Egyptian Turnon by D.r. Wagner. Although there was no check list with the catalogue, the superb installation photographs of the books and prints in cases more than make up for this oversight. The suite of collages entitled Zen Concrete on display at this exhibition were purchased by the Sackners from Ingrid Swanberg in 2008. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.

Most of the poetry is conventional but the writing of the fictional pieces is experimental, a preamble to the highly experimental poetic and fictional works that Patchen produced in the next seven years. Bob Grumman wrote the introduction in which he comments on the form of Kempton's poems whereby a word is split into two or more words by intervening spaces. He mentions that G. Huth designated this form as a severlation. These poems are printed one to a page, e.g., artifact = art if act, justice = just ice, herring = her ring, netherlands = net her lands, etc. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.

On the verso of prints, it is mentioned that only 200 copies were made; however, several individual prints from this series are also held by the Sackner Archive.
