Biography

Born in 1967 in Cedar Rapids, Molly Donahue graduated from Washington High School, Iowa State University, and the University of Northern Iowa before returning to Washington as a teacher of over 30 years. Donahue has represented parts of Cedar Rapids in the Iowa legislature since 2019, serving Iowa House District 68 from 2019-2023 and Iowa Senate District 37 since beginning in 2023.
