BBB (Beatrice's Black Book), St. Cyre Rule, 1983 - 1985
The item appears to be an unnumbered part of Katz' BBB (Beatrice's Black Book) series, so it might be considered tangetial, unofficial, or supplemental. The item is also three-dimensional, the "language" written out on crafted tiles that mimic those found in a word puzzle or game, in contrast to the usual use of paper collages for most of the series.
As with the rest of BBB, this item seems to have been created for Katz' film, Mirror on the Moon (1992).
Katz likely referred to the St. Cyr Rule resulting from the case of Immigration and Naturalization Service v. St. Cyr (2001).
Che/Loro, 1997
This book is dedicated to the memories of politically murdered Ernesto 'Che' Guevara and Jorge 'Loro' Vazquez Viana. Each page can be separated and placed in a grid to reveal the completed image of these two men. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
