The Parchment Is Burning , 1985
The full title of this print, a quote from Rabbi Hanina Ben Tradyon, is "The Parchment is Burning but the Letters are Flying Free." It depicts Hebrew letters arranged randomly above a collaged, burnt surface of paper at the bottom of the print.
