Each page depicts a handwritten column of words or wordlike forms which shows progressive alteration from a primary word to a new one or an image. Examples include among others 1) young - void, 2) falls - mist, 3) ripe - shoe, 4) seed - image of a tree. This has been termed "transmorfation" by Ficus Strangulensis and has also been utilized by other poets, notably Crag Hill, jw curry, and Geof Huth.
