Judy Torleumke - A slight 12-year-old is the new holder of the women's course record at the Washington Golf and Country Club. Judy Torleumke is a four-time winner of the National Peewee Golf Tournament and is now hoping to make a name for herself in competition with other women golfers. [Note: Judy went on to appear at age 17 on the cover of Sports Illustrated as ‘The World’s Best Girl Golfer’ and became known to millions as Judy Rankin, winning 26 LPGA tournaments in the 1960’s and ‘70s.
