General

Sweet corn, grown on the Knotek Brothers farm northeast of Washington, is being hauled to the Green Giant Canning Company's plant at Vinton, Iowa. Several trucks were being used to haul the corn to the canning plant. This is the first year the Vinton Canning company has contracted for sweet corn in the Washington area.
