PLACES IN CONTEST — Maurice Altenhofen of rural Washington receives a check from 'Queen of the Furrow' Kay Klingaman at the State Conservation Field Days and Plowing Matches. He placed sixth in the statewide competition.; Art Raisch from Chapin, Franklin county, is the state's best contour plowman. He's flanked by radioman Herb Plambeck and 'Queen of the Furrow' Kay Klingaman; Politicians had a big day at the State Soil Conservation Fleld Day and Plowing Matches. Republican candidate for Governor Bill Murray, Congressman Fred Schwengel; Washington area Republican candidates Clifford M. Vance of Mt.
