Halcyon Boiler and Mechanical Room for Boyd & Rummelhart Ad; Halcyon Dining Room for Stone's Floor Covering Ad; LJ Kehoe rests in front of the Halcyon House Fireplace; Halcyon Exterior for Earl Woods Ad; Cathryne Caldwell, as secretary to Robert Day, has been in charge of the tremendous amount of correspondence required; Mrs Billie Young of the Livingston, Day and Meeker law office, has played an important role in the clerical work; Members of the board of trusters of the Home Association of Washington, Iowa, Inc., here during a recent meeting at Halcyon House. These men have directed the building plans for the new retirement home. From left to right are: John Owen, president; Robert Day, chairman of building and finance; L.J. Kehoe, secretary and treasurer; R.B. Shannon, promotion chairman and L.C. Willits, house management and organization; Minick & Speed Furniture Ad; Albert Pimme, shown here in his comfortable quarters at Halcyon House, is the first resident of Washington's retirement home.; In the kitchen is Mrs. Thelma Horsey; Mrs. Edward Squire was named superintendent of Halcyon House during the summer of 1958.
