With their right hands raised the two youths in the picture above were sworn into the Army Reserve here this past weck by Capt. Edsall D. Brown, left, commander of the local reserve unit. The two recruits are Keith Thomas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Haydn Thomas of Crawfordsville, center, and Samuel Horras, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Horras of Ollie. Capt. Brown reported that the enlistment quota for the month of September has been filled but also stated that here are openings for four more enlisments in the six months active duly program during the month of October.; These young gentlemen were very special visitors at the Journal office recently. They are Michael and Andrew Hall of Lincoln, Neb., and Brent and Kent Kelly of Washington. "Mike" and "Andy" are identical twins of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hall of Lincoln. They will be four years old in December. Brent and Kent are about the same age and the twin sons of Mr. and Mrs. Leighton E. Kelly of 409 East Madison here in Washington. Which is Mike, which is Andy, and which is Brent, and Kent is something you can decide for yourself. It really doesn't matter anyway.
