Looking like old hands at the game of football eyen though this is the first year for the sport at Riverside, three of the Rocket backfield prospects are pictured above running over a few of their new plays with Coach Jack Hollander. Players from left to right arc, Terry Havel, Ron Krantz and Richard Musser. Coach Hollander reports that spirit on the Riverside squad is very good and is looking for his boys to make themselves known in the Southeast Iowa Eight Man Football Conference.; The trio of busy men are pictured above in the midst of working to finish installation of a complete new filter system for the swimming pool in the YMCA building here. They are are Clare Griffin, left, and Keith Norton, right, of Norton's Plumbing and Heating, and William Guenther, representative of Culligan Soft Water Service. The old filter system which had served the pool for 34 years was removed by Harry Levy of the Mose Levy Company and now the three men above are currently working to install the new system in time to have the pool open again on Sept. 9, which marks the beginning of the local YMCA fall schedule.; New faces in the local county special education department for the year just begun include Mrs. Sharon Cox, county speech and hearing therapist, and Wallace N. Pierce, county special education consultant and school psychologist. Mrs. Cox's duties include screening students in public schools throughout the county on speech and hearing defects or problems. Mr. Pierce works with the students in the count public schools on physical and emotional problems. Mrs. Cox is a graduate of the University of lowa and is a resident of lowa City. Mr. Pierce makes his home here in Washington and is currently working on his doctor's degree at the University of Iowa
