This was the scene at many homes in the Ainsworth community on Saturday evening, Oct. 31, Halloween. Youngsters in Ainsworth and the surrounding rural area collected nearly $120 to help children throughout the world as they went "trick or treating for UNICEF". Mrs. George Colthurst prepares her five-year-old son, Andy, all dressed up for his share of the trick or treating.; The evening of goblins and ghosts was met head-on by the local youngsters as they look part in the UNICEF "trick or treating" on Friday afternoon and evening and the annual cily-wide Halloween party at the YMCA here Saturday night. Holding his pumpkin, which won first place in the "happy pumpkin face" contest at Saturday's party, is Mark Flickenger, son of Dr. and Mrs. M.R. Flickenger.; At St. James School students dressed in their costumes before going out to "trick or treat for UNICEF" Friday after school. They are Margaret McGrevey right rear, Billy Ossman, left rear, David Greiner, right front, and Jeffrey Hampton, left front.; Ronnie Earll stands by the movie projector which was used to show color cartoons at Saturday night's party at the YMCA. Ronnie, son of Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Earll, earned first place in the costume judging for school age children.; Looking rather happy over the turn of events in the above picture at the left is two-year old Brian Proctor who was awarded first prize in the pre-school division of the costume judging at the Halloween party at the YMCA Saturday night. Holding young Brien is his mother Mrs. Keith Proctor.
