General
Wearing a royal smile wasn't a hard job for either of the two Ainsworth High School students selected to reign over the homecoming festivities at Ainsworth Monday evening. Maurine Robertson, a senior and daughter of Mr and Mrs. Dale Robertson, and Gary Letts, also a senior and son of Mr. and Mrs. Grove Letts, were chosen by the Ainsworth student body as queen and king. The queen was introduced during the half-time ceremonies of the homecoming game Monday evening and later shared a white throne with the king in the decorated gymnasium of the high school where the homecoming dance was held.; Carlton Bump, local high school art instructor, examines one of the two bronze-plated "demon" heads which he recently completed and presented to the athletic department of the local high school. The two heads were sculptured in plaster by Bump and then bronze plated and mounted on plaques. Bump said that the two plaques will be hung over the two doorways to the new high school gymnasium.
