#18 WHS Class Day - Inge Flagmann, exchange student from West Germany is shown here as she tried on the letter sweater, a gift from the Washington High School Letter Club.; #18 Yearbook - Barbara Miller (left) is the salutatorian of this year's class, and Leanna Lunning is the valedictorian. The two girls-also shared another honor as co-editors of the 1961 Hi-Life, high school annual.; #18 Outstanding Athlete - Cecil Horst, is shown here with the trophy on which his name will be inscribed as the "outstanding athlete of the Class of 1961," This trophy is kept at the high school and the names of the honored athletes inscribed on the bronze plate in front. ; #18 Carole and Kathy Jungbluth and Pam Thomassen were among the seniors honored. Carole (right) and her twin sister Kathy earned GRA state pins, and were honored for work in the Art Service Club. In the center above is Pam Thomassen whose honors included her selection for a special Vocal music award. The Jungbluth twins are daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Walter H. Jungbluth and Pam is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Thomassen.
