#16 Red Cross Gray Men - Although unpublished, A story written by L.E. Hunn, information officer at the VA Hospital in Iowa City, and appearing in the Journal on April 25, 1962, outlines work done by volunteer men at the hospital. Gray Men from the Washington County Red Cross chapter include: Clyde Brown, Foster G. Bagge, Earl Galloway, Charles L. Livingston, F.L. Strickler, James Walker, William H, Jensen, Claude T. McCoy, Tom Strickler, Claude Woods, Harry Chamberlin, James F. Larson, Walter C. Sheets, William M. Tweeten, Delmar R. Yoder, Harvey Davis, Earl Fry, Eugene Grecian, Ralph Martin and Ralph Stout.
