#11 WHS Homecoming Queen Marilyn - 1962 Homecoming Queen, Marilyn Merz. Assisting the new queen into her car is Brian Owen, queen's escort for the afternoon and co-captain of the football team; #11 Winning Float - "A Victory Will Erupt" was the title of this float entered in the homecoming parade by the junior class and later selected for first place in the judging of entries in the parade.
