Scope and Contents

The Aleck G. Kringlock Pamphlet Collection contains published pamphlets on farms, labor, economics, and politics. The collection is itemized and organized alphabetically. It also contains two folders of articles of incorporation, constitutions and by-laws of various farm-related organizations, and a small amount of correspondence.

Informational and organizational literature of many cooperative, labor, farm and international movements and organizations. Some correspondence.

Method of Acquisition

The collection was donated to the University of Iowa Libraries in 1962 by Aleck G. Kringlock. The Hugh Hardyman letters were a gift of Julie Farias in 2003. The 2004 addendum, also having to do with Hugh Hardyman, is the gift of Arthur Cobery.
