Scope and Contents
It is presumed that these wood blocks pertain to the chautauquas held at Lake Madison, but there are some that advertise farm land for sale. Most of them are portraits. They were probably used in the newspaper.
Also included are two books about the Lake Madison Chautauqua.
These are wood blocks for the Lake Madison Chautauqua. One box is labelled World's Fair, and will be put with that collection.
