Scope and Contents

The papers of Paul G. Norris, Jr. consist of three linear feet of manuscripts dating from 1948 to 1984. Most of the collection is made up of correspondence, dealing with family matters, newspaper business, and politics. Some of the correspondents include: Philip D. Adler, Gerald L. Bogan, Terry E. Branstad, Dick Clark, Sonja Carlsen Egenes, Charles E. Grassley, H.R. Gross, Roger W. Jepsen, Ann Landers, Karl M. LeCompte, Kenneth MacDonald, Thomas E. Martin, Jack Miller, Merle Miller, Richard M. Nixon, Frank T. Nye, Robert R. Rigler, Jean Seberg, Neal Smith, and Lew Warren. The remainder of the collection is made up of two folders of materials relating to the 1968 Republican National Convention and two folders of speeches given by Norris from 1949 to 1978.
