The collection contains loose knitting patterns collected by Jerry. Along with curated knitting pattern booklets created by Jerry. These booklets document all of the knitting projects Jerry completed, they contain handwritten notes and photos of the finishe product.

Biographical / Historical
Geraldine graduated from Omaha's Central High School, Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa, and received her Master's Degree and PhD from the University of Minnesota. Geraldine married Jack B. King on February 15, 1958. She worked for a variety of libraries throughout her career and taught Library Science at St. Catherine's University. A resident of St. Paul, Minnesota for more than 50 years, she was a member of the American Library Association, and Plymouth Congregational Church. Geraldine was an avid and accomplished knitter, contributing many knit items to charity. She loved teddy bears and had dozens in her collection. She and her husband travelled frequently to England and to various American Library Association conferences around the country.
