Mencken, Thomas Mann, Edward J. O'Brien, Ruth Suckow, Marquis W. Childs, James Hearst, Wallace Stegner, Robert Nathan, Arna Bontemps, Paul Corey, Leo R. Ward, Savoie Lottinville, William J. Petersen, John C. Gerber, Leedice Kissane, Mildred Wedel, Howard R. Bowen, Julie McDonald, Dow Mossman, Sargent Bush, O. M. Brack, Iduna Bertel Field, and others.
