Scope and Contents
The Bergus Zine Collection consists primarily of zines relating to avant-garde, underground, and popular music. There are some scattered zines relating to social and political issues as well. In addition, a number of zines are comprised of poetry or short stories.

Abstract
Zines collected by Nick and Laura Bergus documenting avant garde and popular music in the 1980s and 1990s.
Method of Acquisition
These papers were given to the University of Iowa Libraries by Nick and Laura Bergus in 2005. The collection was originally processed as part of the ATCA family of archival collections, but was removed from ATCA in July and August 2008.
