Biographical / Historical
According to their brochures, the Iowa Intensive English Program (IIEP) was a program that provided intensive English instruction and a cultural, social, and academic orientation to the United States. The program ended in 2023.
Their instruction placed emphasis on English as crucial to work in the US in both written and spoken form, and included making sure that students understood the more basic language skills of grammar, writing, reading, listening, comprhenesion, pronounciation, and conversation, and the program taught them in all levels such as beginner, intermediate, and advanced.
