Biographical / Historical
The Cleona Township Women's Club of Scott County was a Farm Bureau-sponsored club and was formed so area women could discuss aspects of rural, farm, and family life. Club meetings were a major social event for the women where they could work together and become involved in the community, socialize, and share common interests such as agricultural life, farm safety, sewing, cooking, and gardening.
