Biographical / Historical
The Thimble Club of Riceville, Iowa was organized in 1901 and federated in 1910. The club had a set topic or theme for each year and met every two weeks for readings, presentations, and discussions. These topics ranged from "the Bible" and "Women in the Bible" to" Territorial Possessions" and "South America." The club also planned social events for members.
